7 STEPS THAT WILL HELP YOU TO OVERCOME FEAR IMMEDIATELY

If there is one thing that holds you and million of other people from achieving their goal in life, achieving success and becoming the best possible version of themselves, fear is definitely at the top of the list.

One thing I want you to understand is that fear is absolutely normal. Even the best experience fear from time to time. The key is to not let fear hold you back and prevent you from taking action and go after what you want in life.Below are some of the tips that will help you in overcoming your fear

1. DEFINE YOUR  FEAR:

Almost 50% of the fear you are having will ware off, by simply defining your fear! Ask your self what exactly makes you scare? Practice this by asking yourself questions it will help you come up with an idea to overcome your fear in very short time.  As this quotes says :

Understand your fear. Is it a fear of heights? Fear of failure? Or Fear of success? Not only does it help revealing a lot about why you have these fears but  also helps you to come up with a plan to overcome it.

2.BELIEVE IN YOUR SELF 

Believing in your self is one of the surest ways to overcome your fears and develop the courage that is needed to get to where you want to go. Develop mantras and affirmations that build you up and increase your self-confidence. Read uplifting books to help interrupt the negative inner dialogue that goes on in your mind. Beginning as a child, we are told negative things that we can’t do, be or have. If you don’t take the initiative to rewire your brain, life will do it for you.

3. DO ONE THING EVERY DAY THAT SCARES YOU:

To overcome your fear you have to come out of your comfort zone. If you don’t work on your fears no body can help you. You need to do what makes you fear! if you neglect doing the things that frighten you, Your fear May become bigger. You can start by doing something small but on daily basis. You need to step out of comfort zone, and become comfortable with the uncomfortable.  This habit will slowly make you confident and courageous little by little.

 

4. ITS NOT BAD TO ASK FOR HELP

Seek out experts in the area, join a community of support and seek out online resources that can help you overcome your fear.

5. READ STRUGGLE STORIES OF SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE

One of the best way to overcome your fears is to read the struggles of the people who had these fears in past. Read about their fears, hurdles ! What made them to overcome their fears and hurdles. I am sure reading their biographies can be a great experience. You never know, you might end up noting down some useful tips.

6. LEARN FROM YOUR PAST EXPERIENCE

You may have heard this famous quote

There is a great chance that you are scare of doing a certain activity again because you had failed it in the first attempt.  Avoid doing that action isn’t going to do any thing good, you need to analyse your mistakes, Ask yourself what went wrong. When you find your mistakes you can try again by avoiding making that mistakes again.

 

7. HAVE A WELL THOUGHT OUT PLAN.

We begin to worry and over analyze situations when we don’t have detailed and well thought out plans for our life. Set extremely clear goals with a detailed plan on how to achieve those goals. After you have a well detailed plan, take action.Taking action towards meaningful goals helps to relieve stress and gives you a huge sense of enjoyment. Fear creeps in and paralyzes us when we don’t take the time to plan our lives.
