Is there a safe way to use steroids? Instead of adding to the length of this article and putting the answer in the concluding paragraph, I’ll keep it short! The shortest, most precise answer to this whole article is –no. There is no safe/safest way to do steroids. At most, all you can say is yes there are ‘less dangerous ways’ to use roids.
And even these less dangerous ways need top-shelf drugs, administered by doctors with regular blood work and impeccable post-cycle therapies (aka PCT-which I will delve into part 2 of this article). All this also costs a bomb that you probably will never be able to afford in a lifetime.
The Reality Of Drug Use And Abuse In Desi Indian Gyms
Desi gyms and trainers are messed up. Since a ‘less dangerous cycle will cost a lot of money’ and average gym dudes obviously can`t afford it, they are tempted by uneducated trainers to use unmonitored cycles. The trainers themselves have no idea about the precise functioning of a drug. They simply address dangerous drugs as ‘gaining tablets and cutting tablets’. What drives this behavior is the fact that they went through the same when they when trying to put on mass and they looked for shortcuts. They are simply not aware of these things and the risks involved are at times fatal. Hence, the novice skinny dude jumps on to the steroid bandwagon in hopes of looking like a cover model. What happens though is something that leads them either into depression, anger or in many cases, straight to the doctor’s office.
Steroids And Nutrition: Something Desi Trainers Have No Idea About
Where these so called ‘Guru Ji’ and ‘gym waaley bhaiyas’ go drastically wrong is ‘how to work a drug with proper nutrition’. With half-assed knowledge of the functioning of a drug and an absolute disregard for nutrition, they push beginners into dangerous steroid cycles. If you are skinny- they’ll give you oral steroids like Anadrol and Dynabol in huge doses to start with. Of course, they don’t care about PCTs and the severe side-effects of the drug. If you are fat- they make you work hours of cardio and hand you a box of fat burning pills that will mess your system up. You’ll lose weight. They are happy. Your hydration levels are fucked and so are your eating habits. They don’t care.
The Most Common Misconceptions That Are Seeded In A New Steroid Users’ Mind
1. Testosterone Injections- Because Testosterone is produced naturally in the body, they start thinking that external sources of testosterone will add to their body’s production.
Fact – Using any hormone sources externally will result in the shutting down of body’s natural production of that very hormone. Once shut down, the body can take a really long time to return to its natural production ability and that too it’s older efficiency is never guaranteed.
2. Oral Tablets Aren’t Steroids-
This myth has made many youngsters pop Dianobal (Methandrostenolone) which is the most common oral drug in circulation. They think these steroids are multi-vitamins!
Fact – Anabolic Steroids are available in different forms in pharmacies in the form of injections, oral tablets and even in the form of creams and gels. An oral tablet can certainly be a steroid.
3. Very Short Steroid Cycles Will Be Completely Safe- Run it for 4 weeks and get off the cycle for about 1 month and start again. Bullshit!
Fact – Whether you do it for 4 weeks or 4 months, you have already messed up your body’s normal hormonal profile. So, don’t assume you will just try steroids and stop early in order to save yourself. Obviously, the longer the usage, the more are the chances of a bad side effect but that doesn`t make short cycles completely safe. (You have to stick to a minimum period to see significant changes.)
4. I Will Do Just One Steroid Cycle To Get The Gains And Stop!
Fact – Did you stop at one bottle of beer? Did you stop after your first cigarette? It’s the same case with roids. The unexpected results these drugs produce are addictive. You will never stop at one cycle. Period! You will always want to look bigger and stay shredded. Sadly though, that’s not possible naturally unless you have been training for over a decade with solid nutrition on the side. If you are not a professional, you will get hooked to looking a certain way and that, my friend, will cost you.
5. A Lower Dosage Will Be Safe
Fact – First off- very low dosages are good for nothing. Secondly, you will have to hit above average or even moderately high dosages to see drastic changes. So, stop thinking that small doses will work wonders and you won’t get any side effects.
6. Nandrolone Decanoate (Deca) Is Completely Safe To Use
Fact – This myth arises because Nandrolone Decanoate is being successfully used to treat severe anaemia and Rheumatism (joint pain). Please remember that using steroids on patients who are suffering from real world problems is undoubtedly different from using it for strength and aesthetic purposes. And of course, such usage for medical conditions administered and prescribed under a doctor’s supervision.
